Sage Valley Nature School

We believe repeated exploration in nature throughout childhood and into adulthood has long term positive impact on cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. Our rich curriculum is a unique blend of child-led play and structured hands-on learning in a bio-dynamic outdoor ecosystem. This provides immersive opportunities for supported risk-taking appropriate to the child and environment. Through this experience, children and young adults can build independence, confidence, a connection to nature, social skills, and a sense of community.

A special thanks to our generous donors!

Supported by generous grant funding, Sage Valley has successfully expanded our edible classrooms, established our Schoolhouse Yurt, and plans to create an apiary to learn about bees and foster a symbiotic relationship. These essential spaces form the heart of our campus, offering a dedicated sanctuary where children participate in land-based education and develop a profound, rhythmic connection to the natural world.
